The atmosphere was great. As an intern I got to do real work and actually contribute.

Relied a bit too much on external designers.

- Typically relaxed culture - Free snacks, energy drinks, coffee, etc. in the break room - TV and game console available to use during break (not used often) - Located near food and shopping - Plenty of parking - Pretty good work life balance - Hackathon days are fun - Friday lunch is fun if you decide to partake

- Pay was terrible compared to other similar jobs in the area - No benefits - No time off initially - No equity - The boss sometimes just stubbornly overrides viewpoints conflicting his viewpoint - Lack of a focus on real data to support decisions - Outdated technology - No real clear insight into the market - Pay raise was negligible - Software developers treated as low skill laborers - Not a whole lot of opportunities for developers in the area if you decide to move on - Pay and benefits overshadow to good office culture - Too much focus on the huge success that is obviously right around the corner - Prototype code is sent straight to production and kept indefinitely - Sunk cost fallacy!
