If it's truly a sales job, the numbers for everyone are posted every month I'd suggest letting the bottom 5% go every quarter instead of literally taking performers willy nilly because they may not fit in with your office politics and buddy scheme. The products are lacking as well. Look at ICE's most recent earnings specifically data services growth and it was flat YoY not allowing for inflation so technically down in a business they are supposedly investing heavily in.
