There is tremendous turmoil here. The company has produced year over year record earnings and then, at Christmas, the executives issued an accross the board pay cut. That is not a joke. After cutting the pay the staff has remained unsettled with many top employees already having left, others have prepared resumes. This coupled with increased technical debt has not prepared them well for the future. The architectures here are very dated but the company is not in a growth phase. So they continue to patch new business features on top of a cracked foundation rather than investing in new solutions. For me, I'd prefer to select a company that selects modern approaches to keep my skills up to date. With many good opportunities in Atlanta right now, I would suggest a company that would value you.
