Since my last review a number of years ago the business has listened to employee feedback about the poor benefits package and in the last two years has increased its offering dramatically to be better than many blue chip organisations, let alone small businesses. The 6 months enhanced shared parental leave of full pay for either party is a prime example of this. The package now consists of: • Private medical insurance • Income protection • Death in service (4 times salary) • Maternity 6 months full pay • Paternity 2 weeks full pay • Shared parental leave 6 months full pay • Professional development via training qualifications for applicable roles • 29 days’ annual leave (25 days to use as you wish, 3 days allocated between Christmas & New Year, plus 1 on your Birthday) • Corporate Social Responsibility policy of 1 day’s paid, arranged group volunteering per year with one of our local charity partners or assist a charity of your choice, plus the opportunity to give blood during work hours throughout the year (optional) • Company car dependent on role • Annual leave sale and purchase • Bike-to-work scheme • Casual dress code • Free on-site parking • Break room with TV and pool table • Referral fee for recruitment of new employees
