      JCPenney used to be such a great place to work. Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Sadly, many have left or been let go.

      Lots of layoffs, and positions not backfilled, so you are constantly being asked to do more work, with less resources. Flexibility was the best, but now requiring return to office. Not much left to appreciate.

      Sales driven. There doesn't seem to be much training on how they want the cashiers to do their job.

      easy job, slow most of the time, need to be able to find things to do to keep busy

      when its slow you are barely scheduled for hours, need to get credit card applications
