Leadership and middle management personnel are leftover from Jamf's earlier days as a small, privately held company and they lack the managerial skills needed to build a strategy and lead teams effectively. It's a significant problem and it won't get resolved overnight,

Jamf’s mission has not changed as we continue to help organizations succeed with Apple and our strategy remains to manage and secure Apple at work. As part of our strategic and annual planning processes we assess progress on the strategy and review and update our initiatives that help us deliver on our mission. Performance and accountability are critical to ensure we are succeeding in our strategy. Enhancing our performance development processes, introduction of scorecards, and regular reviews of critical business metrics help drive accountability and improve performance. With relentless self improvement as one of core values we constantly strive to be better individually and as an organization.

Benefits are pretty much the only positive at this point. Working hybrid is nice, but pales when we used to be fully remote with no issues.

The senior managers of Technical Support are driving this org into the ground. Employees are no longer a human, no longer an employee; we are now just numbers. KPI requirements have gotten ridiculous requiring employees to almost literally fight over available work to make ourselves look better. Its a complete sham, a numbers game. There are those of us that are legitimately here for our users and administrators, but the quantity of work has vastly outweighed the quality.
