Typical downside of a big corporation - a ton of processes, lack of accountability, people are there to retire, lack of SOP so very disorganized so you feel like you're always reinventing the wheel, also quite political as this is the only way for people to leave the disorganization behind to a better/higher role, very heirarchical (many committees and leadership teams need to sign off before something will move forward); HR under-resourced as many functions are outsourced, so unfit individuals are promoted quickly to create the J&J talent story.
