Management and HR in Melbourne is just so disconnected. The HR business partners had no idea about Sydney culture. There was little or no support for management from this team. They never answered your question directly just told you what they knew. They take 12 months to implement performance management which just created more issues for the managers in Sydney. Management say they look after people. In reality they don’t at all. A good example is the recent restructuring where the people departing are thought of as a hindrance.
