Great company to work for with good benefits!

Communication can lack at times.

KCI Construction has been around for over 100 years. In that time, KCI has developed a rich culture with outstanding people at the core of it. I started as a Project Engineer and recently was promoted to a Project Manager. When I was a new Project Engineer, I received guidance and support from those above, below, and lateral from me. Fast forward to today, I still receive guidance and support as an entry level PM just at a higher level. That is because we know success is accomplished as a team and at the end of the day we are all working toward the same goal. KCI understands their people are important. They have implemented an unlimited PTO policy because they know we work hard when the demand is high, thus, encouraging us to take time away from work for family, hobbies, vacations, holidays, personal events, etc. It is common for KCI to throw parties for individual life events such as getting married or having a first baby. KCI puts on holidays parties and acknowledges those accomplishing personal and professional milestones. This is all because they value their people. I am fortunate to have made good friends with coworkers to where we hang out outside of work. Some incredible benefits I personally receive include a significant profit sharing percentage, a truck allowance and fuel card, bonuses, and as already stated unlimited PTO.

KCI is currently growing and developing at an exponential rate. We are still developing new standard operating procedures, policies, and adapting to our needs. But at the end of the day, growth and development are good problems to have.
