I worked for a franchise KFC, so I catched on quickly that most of the financial expenses included they pay for employees were only to benefit the owner of the store the the ones who were in charge to run the stores for the owner, I took most of my work experience as a way to learn the functions of a “privately ” owned business. I, Myself had loyal customers that would come in regularly and would wait if necessary for My customer services and thank me for serving them. So often that i had their orders memorized.

A lot of the customers would complain about the pricing, a majority as well knew that the owner liked to over price even the meal “deals” and would most times urge us to tell the owner/manager to lower it, ( I was just a cashier so I knew my word or opinion on it was irrelevant to my employers ). When I first started working there, the Manager at the time, was unbearable, and at times embarrassing. She would send others to face unhappy customers or would even tell us to say she was not present at the store just to not deal with them, sometimes even arguing with them. Even after placing new management, (2nd year working there) it was still not a pleasant work environment, new management would leave by 12 pm and at times understaffed, or let the lead cashier leave early without notice, and me without notice that I would close the store, (only as soon as they new I could close the system for EOD) leaving me as the only cashier for 4 hours. What made it more unpleasant was that I had brought to their attention multiple times that my coworkers for closing shift would often times not even cooperate as a work team member to keep our work flow/function as smooth as possible.
