Its a set up for failure. With no experience departments will be tough to learn. No training classes. Training consist of you sitting at someone's desk and watch them do the work. A week or two later you'll finally get to do the work on a computer. Once your in this area it will be extremely hard to move on to a higher position. People with MBA's are having a hard time getting out. It seems like the recruiters and managers of other departments avoid hiring from this area. Avoid! The other operation areas should be beneficial to involve your skills and career.
