Vantaggi

Global brand with strong reputation in the manufacturing tech space. A great group of lower level employees. Good benefits. A place to gain 2–4 years of experience before moving on.

Svantaggi

While the bonuses are a nice perk, they can sometimes lock you in and make it harder to pursue better opportunities elsewhere. Career progression is virtually nonexistent. With most leadership roles occupied by people who’ve been at the company for decades, there’s no upward mobility for newer talent. Promotions are based more on loyalty and “Kingston years” than on skills or results. Fresh perspectives and proven contributions take a back seat. In Marketing especially, some senior leaders hold roles they would struggle to secure in another company. This shows in the reliance on surface level knowledge rather than true expertise. Marketing leadership is inconsistent and often unprofessional, with clear favoritism at play. Team dynamics can shift depending on the moods and personal preferences of those in charge, making the environment unpredictable and discouraging. They have too much power! There is little to no mentorship or structured professional development. Junior staff are expected to be experts in everything, without guidance from above.

Vantaggi

My voice has always been heard at Kingston. Ideas 💡 are valued. They have cared about the welfare of their employees. Leadership has always motivated and encourage employees to do their best.

Svantaggi

Its great place for stability. There isnt much vertical growth but a lot of opportunities to learn from other divisions of the company.
