Upper management doesn't focus on the mission of the organization. They use sharing details of their personal lives and fake friendship, in order to manipulate employees into putting up with bait and switch tactics when it comes to compensation, promotions, etc. They sell themselves as being direct and "straight shooters" when it comes to transparency, but they are hiding and faking quite a bit. There is a residue of racism and fear of minorities that is unhealthy and limiting.
