I enjoy working with some of my co-workers, and I enjoy helping my customer's days a little better. There is always the chance to be allowed for little rewards. The discount isn't terrible.

You are hardly ever recognized for the work you do. There is no such thing as raises, and they will give you some of the worst excuses as to why you didn't get a raise. The temperature in the store is kept uncomfortably hot. The hours are garbage if you aren't full-time. There is a certain defined level of nepotism when it comes to full-time and part-time. The well-liked employees (or those who have relatives that work higher up) are usually treated better by management than the rest of us. Having to deal with customer complaints all the time can be wearing, especially if you are not in a position to help them.
