In the few months that I have been working at KO I have learned more than I did while in college and continue to learn new things every day. It's just graphic design that I am learning either, I've also been learning some aspects of marketing and social media. Since the company is small there is a lot of room to grow and take part in sections of the company that you wouldn't be able to at a larger company. The work atmosphere is great and everyone is super friendly. The high-ups really care about their employees and making sure that they are happy and have what they need to succeed. They also like to see you grow personally just as much as you do professionally.

Most tech companies in this day and age have a pretty flexible work schedule and even work from home days. I'd like to see us offering the same kind of benefits. Meaning that If I wanted to come in between 5 and 12 to do my eight hours thats ok instead of sticking to the 8-5 work schedule. The typical 8.30-5.30 doesn't leave room for much personal time before or after work. For someone who needs a good balance of work and personal time for mental health reasons this schedule can be quite grueling and has made it a challenge to maintain positive strides I've made when it comes to my mental health.
