-Customers able to return things from other stores and receive a merchandise credit, if employees were not well-educated on the brands sold at Kohl's vs. brands sold elsewhere -MJM associates are expected to do a lot...and we were constantly understaffed in the department due to how corporate designates the hours each department can have in a given week. Unfortunately, our southeastern Michigan location was busier than expected for all of the holidays/special promotions -something as simple as a restroom break or a water break was typically hard to get, let alone a lunch, even when it wasn't a holiday season or a busy day

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
