The staffing agency assigned me to a company initially in which LK Jordan told me a different salary than the hiring manager at the company. LK refused to verify the correct amount and subsequently, I asked to be reassigned. The second company didn't mention salary in the interview and as an LK Jordan rule, we are not allowed to inquire. LK confirmed that the salary which turned out to be an overstatement by about $8500+ annually, thus making it incompatible with my salary request. By the time I found out the salary was not going to be raised, my contract was almost up and LK is not allowed to discuss other job options while currently employed, therefore they requested I quit the job with no safety net in order for them to be able to speak with me about possibly getting another position.
