They have a huge variety of no-glamour projects mostly from NIH and its related institutes so it's a great place to learn how to service and deal with the Fed bureaucracy and the nitty-gritty of various types of research facilities.

With one notable exception, most senior professionals do not stay on and those who do hang around for the time being are not happy as to how they are treated and managed. The office environment is also not one where there is an openness of dialogue on such issues or how best to serve the client and the project. There is a prevailing attitude among the partners, "That's good enough for the government and they wouldn't know the difference, just get the job out of the front door."
