      The only positive was that some of the people were really nice. Technology is cool.

      Don’t try to solicit a former employee on their personal email, that you laid off (the day after the holiday party), to join some alumni network 3 years after the fact. It’s extremely tone deaf. When I was at Lumicks I did not have an enjoyable experience and there is no way I’d want to relive that through an alumni network.

      I have been with LUMICKS for less than a year but I have to say this is easily one of the best companies I have worked for. It's a flat organizational structure and management truly cares for their employees. They want everyone to develop professionally and personally. It's also so great to be surrounded by such brilliant individuals.

      Upper management, with the new CEO (not Oliver anymore), has no knowledge of the field they are trying to get into. This led to the change directions without any valid rationale - purely based on their "hypothesis" (sometimes they don't even have a hypothesis, lol). Surreal goals for the team No growth potential no US-based HR function Looks like they just want to cash out the company
