Label Insight is a true Start Up unlike many others who advertise themselves as a Start Up. Label Insight has a clear company value around bringing transparency to consumer codes. Label Insight has small company feel with some really dedicated and smart people who are committed to moving the company forward. As a tech company Engineering truly gets to guide the organization in the technology. As well as some pretty nice perks:- * Unlimited Vacation * Free Beer * Cold brew coffee and matcha tea keg * Fully stocked kitchen * Dog Fridays

Life in a Start Up can be exhausting with much uncertainty. Having to adjust or deal with limited information and requirements is both a curse but also makes it exciting place to work as an Engineer. The is also some out of the office work required and even some late nights an weekend to help reach company milestones. However, the excitement after reaching a goal is very heavily rewarded making it a fun place to work.

I have had a lot of different jobs in my life, both good and bad, but working for Label Insight has been a unique treat for me! The mission of the company (product transparency) really makes me feel like I'm contributing something important to society. The culture here is awesome! I feel like I can truly be myself. Dress is totally casual, the schedule is laid back, and we have a keg in the office! There is an open vacation policy so if you need some time off you just take it. We work hard but we play hard and it ends up really feeling like a family. The health benefits are very good. There are many occasions where the company feeds us lunch, takes us to happy hour, baseball games...etc.

Occasionally weekend or late night work is required to finish a project. That being said, everyone is so dedicated to the work that it doesn't ever seem like a big deal. People pitch in to get the job done. Of course, no company is perfect but Label Insight does the best job I've experienced.
