5:30 finish times severely unpaid compared against the market overloaded with work with no compensation management are incompetant zero communication between surveyors and support staff makes doing your job a literal nightmare you are held accountable from your first day and will not be trained well if at all favoritism and non merit based attitude from management upper management are not too intelligent high staff turnover and condescending attitude from co workers and management If you like being treated like a number and nothing more this is the place for you lies from senior management about hiring internally to doing the exact opposite moronic and unprofessional lad culture basically if you are a smart person this is no place for you to grow

In general terms, we offer a full training curriculum, which can be accessed either to support employees in specific roles or for general personal development. It's disappointing that you felt there was a lack of communication, but this does not reflect our experience across the organisation, where communication between surveyors and support staff is generally felt to be working well. We offer opportunities for progression, and all employees are encouraged to look at internal vacancies; we also offer a promotion process which is open to fee earners and support staff. Our core office hours are 9.00-17.30 which are fairly standard working hours for many businesses.

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. We are very much encouraging managers to have conversations with their team members about their careers and future ambitions so they can be supported with their development. In addition we have 2 promotion cycles each year to help support this and are now making the promotion process more visible so employees (and managers) can find out what is required.

Senior execs are out of touch ZERO training. Don’t let the standard HR responses fool you, if you are support staff expect no training at all and accountability for mistakes from day one Environment is far too stressful While I worked there, there was significant turnover which impacted morale

Sorry to hear you had such a poor experience at LSH. We expect all new staff to be trained and be given the tools to do their jobs. If this doesn't happen for any reason, they are encouraged to speak to their line manager or directly to HR so we can work to resolve any issues. We don't expect employees to suffer without being any given training on how to do their job. You referenced the positive support from your line manager and it should be part of their role to seek to identify training requirements and contact the relevant teams in order to out that in place.
