Vantaggi

Everyone is very warm and welcoming. Nice small business, family environment.

Svantaggi

The training program, mentoring program and support is really not there. This structure is really designed for the experienced advisor that has a successful business and likes the hands off approach. This structure is not designed for someone new in the business trying to establish themselves as an advisor. The support and training program is not designed for that.

Vantaggi

Very ethical and honest company. The new Director of Training & Development is great and a top producer in the company of 100 associates & staff. Advisors are taught how to network, generate referrals and develop clientele. Top Advisors are regularly available to do joint work and help you grow your business. Good speacialists. Several Financial Planning processes to choose from. Strong incentive compensation (if this is considered a con this is not the industry for you). Management opportunities if want to go that route. You’re not micro-managed. Treated as a business owner not an employee (don’t want to be a business owner, probably not the industry for you). Lots of young & successful advisors.

Svantaggi

All that come with being a business owner. You have to be willing to work hard in the first 2-3 years, be self driven, be able to manage rejection, willing to have incentive based compensation & find solutions (not excuses). You may fail at the career. The negative posts below are very off base. I would recommend talking with current advisors during the interview process if you would like a different perspective…although, I guess the kitchen could use a new stainless steel refrigerator if that’s important to you…:)
