Vantaggi

After working here for a few years the time off options are very good. Work / Life balance is good. Remote is nice.

Svantaggi

In the midst of a BIG culture shift. Less ability to dictate paychecks and they find new and creative ways for you to make less money year over year. Preach transparency and being open to feedback, but when you provide feedback you are ignored or even YELLED at from your manager. I’ve worked here for several years and now we fight to make a commission check over 2500 IF YOU ARE GOOD. If you are bad or a mid player then you will struggle to make $1000… I’ve made 150k+ here several years in the PAST and have always made over 100k when most don’t as a top performer, but now it’s a challenge to make over $100k you have to be lucky and if you do well the next month they raise the stakes their goals are based on percentages that are too complicated to beat. Management just ignores feedback and just gave our commission plan a 2% increase to ‘keep up with inflation’. If you are still reading or thinking of applying for a sales role here. Beware.. Unless you never done sales then if you get hired this might be good for you if expectations are not high.

Svantaggi

Started my career at Liberty Mutual as a Workers' Compensation intern. In the beginning, everything was going well. The workload was demanding, but I genuinely enjoyed the job and the work I was doing. One year later, I got promoted to claim adjuster. Things changed after my manager was seriously injured in a car accident. The department director took over managing our team, and the work environment became completely different. She was extremely rude and practiced excessive micromanagement. She expected me not to take any PTO if my work wasn't completely finished, even when I needed time off because my grandmother had suddenly passed away. The constant pressure and lack of empathy took a serious toll on my mental health. I developed depression during that time and eventually had to seek help from a psychologist. In the end, I decided to leave Liberty Mutual. It was one of the best decisions I made for my well-being, and I would not consider returning to the company.
