The people are great. Young, motivated, and willing to learn. There are guaranteed pay bumps as long as you get a satisfactory score for your yearly review. This is a positive for people who don’t care about merit based increases.

Upper management is completely incompetent. Within Purchasing there is no work life balance and if you are a minority it is almost impossible to get promoted beyond the Manager level.
