- Excellent people. I have so many talented, creative coworkers who I genuinely enjoy working with, which makes a big difference in any job. People have a 'let's find a way to get this done' type mentality - rather than a 'computer says no/that's not my job'. - The company has switched focus from majority external hiring - to looking at how to build up the skills and career progression opportunities for internal staff - be that moving up into more senior roles - or sideways into different areas of the business to expand experience. - the 6 weeks working from anywhere each year and hybrid working are handy. Can also take a day off for volunteering and 1 company wellbeing day. off. The offices are nice environments - good set up (not apple or google level - but nice space to work in, good range of useable spaces and plenty of indoor plants. - My manager is great - very good soundboard and role model

- The company has been through a few periods of change recently - both in terms of new system roll outs (some great - like the AI platform, some painful - like the Finance system) and restructuring exercises (most recently one last month). It is a reality of business, particularly in current markets - and I think the company is getting better at managing change and has learned from mistakes along the way. - Company is currently owned by BP - who announced last year that they are looking for a new JV partner for Lightsource. This process is currently ongoing - and whilst it could be a real positive (increasing investment) it does create uncertainty in the short term. - Way too many meetings - but I think that's a broader problem in many companies post COVID
