The company culture is great--very positive and you know that your managers have your back, especially if you had a rough student. Pay is pretty good, but they don't exactly give a great raise every year. You get paid holidays as a regular (non seasonal) employee. They train you well and they give you fairly consistent feedback. I really honestly enjoyed working there. The only reason I left was so that I could pursue employment in what I had gotten my degree in.

They are very busy during the summer, so if it is important to you to be able to take lots of vacations then...you're going to be disappointed. As someone else said, the students are often very challenging either in behavior or just their special needs. I was there for 4 years and never got promoted even though I was an exceptional employee. I'm sure that part of it was to do with the fact that I flat out told them I wasn't sure what my future with the company was though since my degree was in an unrelated field. Also, just as an FYI, their company policy is to not give recommendation letters. So if you plan to work for them seasonally it's ok, but I would not recommend working here long term expecting to get a recommendation letter from your center director etc. They just refer to HR. Kind of a bummer, but I imagine it's because they don't want their employees leaving.
