      - Lufthansa is a big brand name company - You can acquire a lot of aviation, IT and commercial knowledge and work for various sister companies throughout your carrier - Very structured - International client base -People stay with the company for a long time

      You need to start out at HQ in Germany to really get an opportunity to advance in the company; although German language skills are not mandatory when you work in one of the offices abroad, it will still help tremendously if you do have them.

      The work is interesting, you will not be programming DB data entry applications as is the case with 90% of the work out there. The development process is professional, but the team is small and there is much autonomy, which you won't get in big corporations. So a lot to learn, in a pretty stress-less environment. The manager is willing to hear you out. Great work/life balance. The team is a bunch of good people too. Flight benefits are great if you like to travel around the world, business class too.

      Pay could be better, even if it is similar to similar-sized software companies in the area.
