Lumen has a no raise police for management employees. This has been in place since the merger in 2016. Union employees enjoy a raise every year regardless of performance. Management will not receive a raise regardless of performance. Unless you are desperate for a job do not work in a non-represented position for this company. You will work for years without seeing an extra dime while your peers in different companies receive 3-5 % raises every ear. Inflation will eat you alive. It is disrespectful to go five years with no raise in this environment.

Changes in systems with many malfunctions, confusing workflows, policies set with little guidance (like figure it out yourself)

Remote work, good health insurance

Svantaggi

Lots of RIFs, poor technical leadership in the highest levels, lots of wasted money and resources on third party vendors and contractors to just abandon those projects or vendors in short order. Poorly thought out data management decisions. Company is trying their hardest to look like a modern tech company with modern values, but most of it is virtue signaling.
