      This company has a dynamic sales team that pulls in great clients. The benefits are above average if you are a full-time employee.

      The list of cons is practically endless (but many small/medium size businesses are very chaotic so this is not too unusual), I will just try to describe the core of the problem. The CEO does not have what it takes to manage a dynamic company like this one because his background is in sales. He doesn't teach the sales team about other parts of the company and just let them run wild. Without clear and effective communication many issues happened during later phases of the projects. Because of this favoritism an invisible separation of class forms between the sales and the rest of the company. Other people are getting slammed with work while the sales people are working from home. If someone quits, the first thing they would do is to ask someone else (sometimes with completely irrelevant background) to help out, and then it will gradually become the norm until that person couldn't handle the tasks anymore.

As the newly appointed COO, I am keenly aware that our entrepreneurial spirit means individuals may perform multiple tasks and roles.       This company is leading the way in designing and manufacturing high tech displays for the retail industry. Lynx has some very talented people that strive to exceed Customers expectations. From working with fortune 500 brands, to travelling the globe, working at Lynx is exciting and fast paced. One point of difference is their ability to develop electronics solutions (at an amazingly fast rate) specifically tailored to meet the clients requirements. From mechanical design, electronics hardware and software, to final assembly, it’s all done in-house. It’s exciting to watch the process from development to deployment in a relatively short space of time.

      Working at Lynx is very fast paced which does come with its challenges. If you are looking for a job to just cruise, then look somewhere else.

      Company culture is very good and new ideas are always heard. Pay was very decent as well.

      Management will layoff people when times are tough, which is very unfortunate due to the quality of the work culture.
