The only con I can think of is the processes involved within the programs in which we use on a daily basis. Although it is very easy to learn how to navigate through the programs, there are situations that could potentially prevent you from moving forward without manager approval which requires you to tell a resident that we will have to finish up any process when a manager is available. Understanding why this process is in place, I still feel that the company should reevaluate which permissions are actually needed and there should be a little more freedom for the associates so we can assist with small discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. We always feel empowered to make decisions that best fit the situation but we are unable to correct it without speaking with a manager first. I have observed that Lyon Living is working hard to implement necessary changes and I am excited for all future progress to making our daily tasks more streamlined and efficient for everyone.
