Buying new businesses at the same time as telling leadership that they're at risk of redundancy A CTO that says a lot without saying a lot, everything will be fine - yet nothing changes. No direction from Senior management HIPPO effect from the top - no autonomy in teams that is promised when you join 12 month pay cut by 10% put's salaries already behind market rate even further behind. It's no wonder people leave Those on furlough being topped up to the same percentage of salary than those working. But apparently 4 months of furlough is not a holiday. Many people massively over-promoted due to the circles of trust that exist. So long as the circle of trust are ok that's all that matters. Promises of career development - they don't exist unless you're in the above circle.

Can't think of much. Some nice people work there.

Travelling to the airport from a city full of similar jobs is not ideal to begin with. You can also enjoy a below average salary for your efforts. The technology is ancient and has been forced through a modernisation that has made all their systems clunky and difficult to work with. The over-ambition and arrogance of the tech team is their biggest downfall, over-committing to new customers and then making the staff suffer for it, with deadlines that are unachievable and ultimately end up producing rubbish quality stuff; which predictably is then also the staffs problem, and you can spend endless days in meetings about why everyone is underachieving the impossible. The tech team are also run as a dictatorship with a leader than nobody has or has ever liked, who likes to act like he owns the airport, and enjoys pointing out everyone's failures and doing zero to support anybody. Luckily for me it was only a short stint, but one I wish I would have passed up on.
