Vantaggi
I was at MBLM for a few years, enough to know what the company is like and having worked at other brand agencies, enough perspective to know what's good and bad. MBLM is a great place to cut your teeth, it's also home for many, who found their niche and seem happy there. There's lots of opportunity to learn and grow, many different projects and a pretty decent work/life balance. There are offices in different countries so you'll be meeting people from all over and working on brands from around the world. You'll also hear people talking in all different languages. I made some great friends. It's a small office, so you're expected to pull your weight and help where you can. I found I always had help when I needed it -- a partner to review my work and give constructive feedback. I liked that I was able to try many different things, including dealing with clients and working across many industries and learning from an industry pro. Some great company events (snowboarding), annual bonuses are notable. MBLM's Thought Leadership is also cool and they do a lot of impressive work on that front.
Svantaggi
For me, after several years, it was more about wanting to try something new, somewhere new. Having now worked at bigger places, there's some definite pluses there, but-also more politics, bureaucracy and mediocrity than at MBLM.
