Learned about Internet Research and Events - Recensione dipendente - Summer Intern presso MILSTE

As an intern, I learned a lot about how to collect data off the internet from annual reports, news articles and press releases for industry reports. I also got to see a lot of interesting people during meetings. There were weekly luncheon that were provided by the managing directors, and we were able to see Hong Kong's city from different angles by going to see different banks and companies. One interesting time is I got to go to Shenzhen to meet some interesting people, and wrote a short briefing on the clients needs and how we can provide them with unique services

The office was a little small and tight, and there wasn't coffee or tea in the office. Also the lift in the building was a bit strange. I also thought that some of the interns worked quite hard. For an updated internship it was indeed interesting and a lot of different work

The atmosphere just has something great about it that you can only find at small businesses. The passion of the owners and the way they talk about the business and their clients rubs off on everyone. Customer service is taken very seriously at the company and they really go out of their way to over-deliver. The philosophy at MILSTE is to under-promise but over deliver. For example one client from China asked for a whitepaper to be viewed by at least 1000 people. We set a target of 3,000 and actually got 5,000 at last. It really is a great company.
