There are quite a few Pro’s that keep us happy. One being a Flexible Schedule, never feel like I can’t adjust my work schedule due to my kids schedule. Another benefit is Leadership having unlimited PTO/FTO (within reason). I also Primarily work from home except maybe one day a week I go in office. That doesn’t bother me because it gets me out of the house. I really love that even with the merger we kept our “Rawlings Traditions” and still have our tournament and food truck days, as well as the events during the holidays, like our Angel Tree fundraiser. I do love our family days too like the Easter egg hunt and Trunk or Treat.

Pay and benefits. This is the only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars. With this merger and review of department bonus structure I have taken a huge pay cut. What’s terrible is the impact to my family and I’m sure others this has had. There was no transition period to adjust to the quite large drop in pay. It was almost immediate after they explained the new goals and tiers. It’s a struggle to maintain a positive mindset when I’m having to redo a budget and somehow make it work. Being in the health care industry I would’ve hoped our benefits would be better, but no. I’m almost terrified of what changes I’ll see during open enrollment next month.
