Quick hiring process (i.e. application and interview). Weirdly they hired after one phone call. I was skeptical with how fast it happened. (I should of heeded this as a harbinger of things to come...)

The 2-day training is COMPLETELY USELESS. They throw you out on the sales floor and no one trains you about the current deals, promotions, exclusions, etc. Customers get upset with you on every kind of coupon sent to them in the mail when they can't be used that day. Of course, there's no training on this... After you're left helpless on the sales floor, you finally start selling. You have no idea what you're doing and full-time employees give you the cold shoulder because they need to make commission and don't have time to waste with you. They don't tell you about the break policy. That's all implied. It's not written in any paperwork you signed. Very vague and dangerous if you want to keep your job. When you literally don't know the policy, they accuse you of not adhering (again, thank you lack of management...) . Keep all copies of your hours to defend yourself. A common comment is "they're watching you". If you have nothing to hide, who cares. But for every additional minute more you take for your lunch/dinner or regular break, "they're watching you"-even when you went no where but the Break Room and are walking back (an additional few minutes because you're literally walking back). God forbid you get diarrhea... this company should hire robots... Management is non-existent. Customers are left hanging 30 minutes-1 hour to get resolutions. You are also left hanging again after calling them 3 times over a span of 30 minutes. They treat everyone like a suspected criminal. Turn-over is EXTREMELY high. No hours available for Seasonal Employees, which defeats the purpose of being a Seasonal Employee. Out of the whole month of December, there were only 4 HALF DAYS available. Their full-time employees complain of working 8-days straight to management and other co-workers. I witnessed a lady calling out her manager because "It's not right! I cannot keep working like this! I need to rest! My feet are swelling! This is not right!" Many go to work sick because they get no days off. Seasonal's are hired, a lot don't show, and those hours aren't properly advertised for others to grab. Don't go above and beyond pleasing management with sales numbers or the number of credit cards you opened. They don't care how hard you work, because in the end, YOU.DON'T.MATTER.....TAKE HEED! Work there at your own risk, employment reputation, and health. NOT A GOOD COMPANY AT ALL. They won't give you time to learn or correct honest ignorance from the lack of training.
