Sad to say but this is the worst company I have ever worked for. You get one day of training with IT and HR, then on your second day you are handed a caseload of around 100. Depending on your team of course, you are churning out CoSs and application forms like a factory line. When it works, it is a slick machine, works well, and of great value to the clients (there is some great talent working here), but there is not enough support for new joiners. You are expected to ask questions rather than receive proper training. You have to juggle the caseload before you even have proper access to the different systems or are able to navigate where things are kept. You have to monitor and keep the case management system up to date, as well as multiple spreadsheets, your emails, instructions given on Teams, oh and trying to keep up to date with the law while you are at it! Annual leave entitlement and benefits leave a lot to be desired. The salary is not competitive at all, especially for the hours/workload. They hand you tasks where you will inevitably have to work late but then do not provide assistance with taxis home. There is no separate space for lunch e.g: a break room or canteen so if you want some space you have to go out to a coffee shop or something. New joiners seem to start and then you don’t see them again with no explanation. Also, a warning to new joiners, you are expected to be in the office full time for the first 5 weeks.
Think carefully before joining this firm, it is very much sink or swim for newbies rather than providing a supportive or nurturing environment.
Finally: they have the radio on all day! Makes it very hard to concentrate.
