Mantecon Partners provides solid exposure to real-world mechanical consulting projects, including MEP design, coordination, and drawing production. I appreciated the opportunity to work on active projects and gain experience with industry standards and deadlines. The compensation was competitive for a co-op role, and being in-office allowed for direct collaboration with senior designers and engineers. The workload gave good insight into consulting timelines and expectations.

Communication and expectations could sometimes feel unclear, especially regarding responsibilities and workflow processes. At times, feedback and direction were inconsistent, which made it challenging to understand priorities. The pace can be demanding, and there may be limited structured mentorship depending on project pressures.

Designers who I worked with were good to me, respected my design intent.

Management interfered with my design intent and did not have the structural experience or ability to challenge calculations properly, only challenged my design to please a client and never provided evidence. Often times management would slander me to the clients after I left as I have eye witness testimony that they said I made too many mistakes on the jobs and they had to get rid of me. Tony Mantecon was often heard using my name in a derogatory manor when talking about jobs I didn’t even work on according to eye witness testimony . It was clear they like to slander people and tell lies as the employment ended due to a random illegal reduction in salary and not a lack of performance on my part . No evidence was provided or mentioned that indicated a lack of performance on any of my projects .
