I really had no problems when being employed

We had a great CNO who opened the facility, then left to move back to her home state. Then we hired another awesome CNO who was actually listening to the nurses suggestions about how to make the facility safe as we DO NOT have security on site and were admitting some very violent patients. That CNO was worried about our safety, but unfortunately, Corporate walked her out within two weeks of hiring her.

DANGEROUS place to work. We have had patients jump over the nurses station and completely destroy every computer, iPad, flipped the refrigerator over. Nurses had to lock themselves in the med room, which has only one door into the nurses station. We were trapped until the police finally came. But these violent patients cannot be sent to jail even if they destroy the facility or physically attack the staff!!! You are safer to work in a correctional facility or state penitentiary!!! YES!!! It’s that bad.
