From the mission of the organization, the people that make up Marin Transit (co-workers, supervisor, directors, the GM), to the location of the office (downtown San Rafael)...I can go on.

I honestly can't think of any cons at the moment...I really tried.

Awesome employees! Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming if you're a new employee or if you've been there a few years. They are super open so if you have questions they are very open to helping out. Additionally, if you're a go getter, you can push for more responsibility pretty quickly and they will give it to you.

If there isn't a specific task you have to do it can be a bit dry. Also, with a public company, the level of innovation isn't that of startup, so trying to fix something in the short term can be difficult. Over time though, they've done a remarkable job with the service in Marin County.
