Micromanagement, particularly during major initiatives like Workday implementation, has undermined autonomy, created uncertainty in roles, and eroded trust. Understaffing and systemic issues are compounded by repeated directives to "hang in there" without transparency on resources or realistic support, while workloads increase and leadership expresses disappointment in results.
