This role was exactly what I was expecting and to be honest not a lot of opportunities out there can offer the same. If you treat it like your own business then you have the best chance for success. One of the most important things to me is the ability to learn how different facets of the company work together to create solutions for our customers. In a larger organization, I did not feel I got the same level of visibility or real-life business exposure to multiple departments and feel like this provides me with my own real-life MBA. Furthermore, my ability to develop relationships may be limited to postal codes so I like the freedom to really be in charge of my day and the companies that we engage with. So for me, the opportunity to be creative to run my own business at Maropost has been exactly what I was looking for. The people I work with are creative thinkers and extremely solution-oriented and having a solid core of people like this has helped me learn a lot more about marketing technology than I ever knew before joining Maropost.

This isn't really a con but if you are expecting the same level of support that you would get from a larger enterprise (ie. A ton of inbound, qualified leads, a person to do your demo's for you) then this may not be the best fit for you yet. If you are expecting a typical 9-5 then again this may not be the best fit for you. Generally, I have found to get the best results if you put in more time you get more out (as it is with anything so if you are willing to do that then you have the opportunity to not only develop your skillset but do great things here)
