      Vantaggi

      Mars provides good benefits with a 6% 401k match and good investment options. Many jobs are available and most management is supportive of furthering your career experience if you are willing to put in the effort to learn. Overall great place to work and has a unique culture.

      Reorganization’s over the past 10 years have significantly sized down certain departments asking associates to do more with less support. Since it is such a big organization change is difficult to implement due to the slow speed the general organization moves at.

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.
