Working with the clients. Whether it's an architect. builder, designer or home owner. I really enjoy the interaction with the clients and helping them find exact what they envision. No 2 projects are the same, keeps things interesting and you're always learning.

Communication from head office. Lack of transparency, managers really don't care for other offices only their own. Open door policy does not exist. No accountability. Promises for a lengthy training during the interview process was guaranteed but it never happened. HO treats other branches differently. Managers and upper management will agree but nothing is actually put in to place, which again is very frustrating,. They let employees go instead of trying to improve ee

Good benefits, company values, and employees are considered when big decisions are made. There's opportunities for labor share and travel to other locations. It is family owned and while we don't see them often, they make you feel seen and that you matter. There's a nurse who is easy to talk to and actually cares. There have been a lot of changes in HR but its for the better. Lots of opportunities to learn new things and grow. We also got a new parking lot which was much needed since the plant has grown.

Mandatory overtime on Saturdays, but has gotten better. Not much visibility from the safety department on second and third shift unless its early afternoon on second shift - or - the last couple hours on third shift. There's four safety specialists here and they all mostly work during business hours, so unless you catch them before they leave its difficult to address anything. There's a safety committee but it can be difficult to get an actual person from the safety department because of their working hours.
