The company culture has deteriorated significantly under new leadership, creating a toxic and unstable workplace. Employees who challenge decisions or voice concerns often find themselves out in the next “restructure.” Pay inequality is a major issue - longstanding, high-performing staff are refused salary reviews or market-rate pay, while inexperienced new hires are brought in on significantly higher salaries. As brokers, we were longer trusted to do our jobs independently and were micromanaged to an extreme degree, almost as if working for a direct insurer, with little autonomy or respect for our expertise. Certain individuals, who were clearly unsuitable for management roles, were kept in position despite feedback from multiple departing employees indicating they provided minimal support and contributed to further frustration within the workplace. A member of senior leadership has also engaged in behaviour that makes employees uncomfortable. There’s a clear reason why over half the employees have left in the past year.
