Vantaggi
Each of them are individually owned. I'm sure other owners are legit, but not the one I worked at. The only advantages were getting to work with kids (which is something I really do love).
Svantaggi
- Low pay. I worked in downtown Seattle. In child care. For minimum wage. And tutored. - Illegal handling of breaks. I was asked to work through my breaks, then make it look like I got a break in the system so he wouldn't get in trouble. Unacceptable. - I was left alone with kids all day. With no way to prepare food (no microwave, etc). And no permission to take the kids anywhere so I could get food. - No feminine napkin disposals for me or the adolescent females I watched. - Cut hours when I said I wouldn't help him make it look like I had breaks. Retaliation. - He gets HS kids to work for him that don't know their rights. - he's disrespectful, unprofessional, acts inappropriately, does illegal stuff. He's extremely cunning and manipulative. - I was exposed to Covid at work and he didn't tell me. VERY BIG DEAL. - The only thing HR and/or corporate tells you if you call about these types of problems is to talk to the owner of the franchise. They aren't much help.
