This company had no issue lying there way through open enrollment. They lied about the stability of our jobs, the job itself, the management, they pretty much lied about everything. When as a supervisor you have to train your own agents because they #1 hired too many people and #2 some of the trainers were flat out incompetent, it doesn't bode well. When you have to train your agents with screenshots and theories of how things will work and then wonder why no one knows how to use the systems and do the job. When you are working 12-14hrs a days already and regardless if the schedule you accepted wS Monday thru Friday they tell you btw you are working all weekend the weekend before Christmas and if you don't come in you will be written up and we don't care if you have family plans. Just a worthless company!

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
