you name it they have done it! Poor Culture, bad Morale, Greedy top level management, Terrible training, UN fair and unrealistic expectations. Works for the government mostly but makes up it's own rules about things. Promotions are highly based on political stance with top management. Pay seems fair until you find out what they really want you to do. Company has a number of active fair labor act lawsuits going on.

Remote, adequate training and guidance and usually everything /software works - minus regular hiccups.

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
