On site con ed. Great Hands on Training. Pawtucket Trainers are very helpful in all aspects. Most of the Dispatchers are exceptionally knowledgeable. Much better updated equipment than other Ambulance companies.

Internal communication is horrible. To ask a question or to get help with an issue, not one of the "supervisors" know what is going on! The only answer you get is, "Let me look into that and I'll get right back to you".

Good equipment compared to a lot of other companies in the area. Flexible schedule. Not too much micro managing unless you run in to the wrong people or do something wrong.

Poor communication is a severe problem throughout the company from ownership to low level supervisors. You'll only hear from them if they want something or if they think you did something wrong. In the past there were bonuses every year and other motivating incentives that have slowly disappeared completely. You will never get a raise unless you ask for it. The company is awful at listening to concerns, issues, or ideas employees might have. Money has become the sole interest of ownership unlike in the past where employee well being seemed to be an important value to them.
