I liked MediaCom for the first couple of years. There are some good clients and most people are really nice, I never saw any bullying or anything like that. Training for planners is good.

MediaCom's big claim is that they put "people first". It's even in our email signatures. They make a big song and dance about how much they care about staff's mental health. However as soon as Covid hit they made almost 100 people redundant immediately. This was before any other agency in London. And they didn't even do furlough, just BAM a ton of loyal and high performing people suddenly just axed. These included people who are vulnerable, like older people (one of whom had worked for them for 30+ years) and people with lung conditions, people who lived alone and had been self isolating without any support, suddenly having to contend with redundancy in the middle of a pandemic. It's an absolute disgrace. Those of us who are left have had our eyes opened to how little they actually give a toss about their people. Staff are just a commodity and an expense like any other that will be culled at the first sign of trouble, Many of those of us left will be out of the door as soon as the jobs market opens up again. People don't come first at MediaCom, shareholders do.

Ottimo posto per socializzare, lavorare con clienti blue chip e i più grandi marchi del mondo. Questo posto di lavoro non ha spazio per errori e ti insegnerebbe la disciplina del lavoro e come lavorare bene sotto pressione ed essere difensore. Devi andare in molti posti fantasiosi a Soho e lavorare con alcuni dei principali fornitori di media (GG, FB ecc.). È un posto perfetto per i laureati e se apprezzi un posto di lavoro molto socievole. Si dice che ci sia politica aziendale, ma non l'ho visto nella mia squadra. Riceverai ottimi vantaggi dai clienti, inoltre gli uffici sono carini, un'ottima caffetteria / colazione gratuita e cibo di base se lavori più tardi del previsto.

L'infrastruttura IT non è di prim'ordine Movimento lento e riluttante al cambiamento, grave mancanza di innovazione Gli stipendi sono bassi, entro i benchmark del settore non paragoniamolo con la retribuzione interna ... Lunghe ore dovute a carenza di personale e inefficienze tecnologiche Il sistema di fatturazione è ridicolo: passerai una buona parte del tuo tempo ad amministrare PO che risalgono a qualche anno fa Sarai un piccolo zoccolo in una grande macchina Progressi di carriera lenti Troppa responsabilità e carico di lavoro dato al personale junior L'apprendimento è limitato alle "best practice specialistiche del settore": non potrai davvero vedere il quadro più ampio del mix multimediale in un contesto diverso Asservito al cliente - letteralmente

You get a real buzz working with the nicest and cleverest people in the industry. There's plenty of opportunity for training and development, both in a professional and personal capacity and the business makes a point of looking out for eachother. The work/life balance project blend is an important and prominent part of what we do and you feel like you're trusted to make it work regardless of the hours you keep. The company has always supported me and i'm grateful for that. I really don't want to work anywhere else.

it's very dependent on the manager you have; you have to fight for recognition and exposure, make a fuss if you really want a decent pay rise, and shout when you're drowning. if you have a good manager, then this is in the course of your day, but with a shoddy one, it's easy to fall through the cracks. But i think that's the same everywhere. At least there are plenty of great people to turn to if needed, and it's encouraged to source support/network outside of your day to day.
