Expectations are often unclear, yet the penalties for not meeting them are harsh. Leadership should invest more time into developing their employees instead of punishing them for results that stem from poor management and lack of support. The company relies on outdated software and old laptops, making it difficult to perform efficiently. There is no structured training or development team, and new hires are often given minimal instruction just to get tasks off someone else’s plate. The environment feels siloed — I was barely introduced to other team members, which made it difficult to build connections or collaborate effectively. Work hours are rigid (9–6), and the amount of PTO and sick time provided is not sufficient to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Overall, the company needs to prioritize employee development, update its systems, and create clearer expectations to set its teams up for success.
